The Portland Board of Public Education has adopted a complete set of policies related to special education services that comply with state and federal special education regulations. Students who are eligible to receive support through our Student Support Services staff must be identified with a specific disability through special education evaluations and under the determination of an Individual Education Plan (IEP) team.
